Heartbreak Train  

was home studio recorded and released in 2007 after my pickin' partner Gordon West and I won the Duo Entertainment category at the Southwest Pickers annual Bluegrass  and Old Time Music Festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Local public radio station KUNM that broadcasts from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque was on site to cover the event live and when host Rachael Mauer asked us to appear for a live interview on KUNM we couldn't say no.  She also asked us to "..not forget to bring our CD."  Well, that presented a small problem.  We didn't have one! In less than a month, myself and Gordon wrote and recorded all eleven songs on the CD.
